Who they were

At Angers in France, Blessed Rosalie du Verdier de La Sorinière, virgin in the monastery of Calvary in this city and martyr, condemned to death while the French Revolution raged, out of hatred for the Christian faith.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 27 January as a Calvarian nun of Angers condemned to death in the French Revolution out of hatred for the faith.

The cause

Rosalie du Verdier de La Soriniere has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Benedictines of Notre-Dame du Calvaire: Blessed Rosalie du Verdier de la Soriniere.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
