Who they were

Nabor and Felix were martyrs in the persecution of Diocletian, about 303. Their relics rest at Milan, where a church was built over their tomb, and St. Ambrose praised them.

Later legendary Acts, which the Catholic Encyclopedia says have no historical value, make them soldiers of the Emperor Maximian condemned at Milan and beheaded at Lodi. Their feast is 12 July.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity
