Who they were

At Tarragona in Spain, Blessed Francisco Palau y Quer (Francis of Jesus, Mary and Joseph), priest of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, who during his ministry endured terrible harassment and, unjustly accused, was banished to the island of Ibiza, where he died abandoned to himself.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 20 March as a Discalced Carmelite priest who endured harassment and banishment to Ibiza.

The cause

Francisco Palau has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Discalced Carmelites: the cause of Francisco Palau.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
