Vivenzio di Reims
Feast: 7 September (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
Vivenzio was a bishop of Reims in the troubled period as Roman rule collapsed in Gaul, though almost nothing certain is known of his life, and sources disagree whether he held the see in the later fourth century or the later fifth. He appears in the ancient episcopal lists of Reims, and it was after him that the much better documented Saint Remigius, who baptised Clovis, became bishop.
In 851 Archbishop Ebbo translated his relics to Braux in the Ardennes, where a community of clergy was founded to guard them, and many miracles were afterwards attributed to his intercession there. His feast is kept on 7 September.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
