Who they were
Vincent appears in the story of Saint Aventinus of Troyes, a hermit-priest who died in 538, as the bishop of Troyes some years later. It was Vincent who built a church to hold Aventinus's relics, and he chose to be buried there himself.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
Bishop of Troyes; built a church for the relics of Saint Aventinus and was buried there himself.
