Vicente Robles Gómez
Claretian student, martyr of the persecution in Spain
Who they were
Vicente Robles Gómez was born on 25 April 1914 at Villanueva del Conde, in the province of Salamanca, and made his religious profession as a Claretian on 15 September 1931. The Dicastery's list of the Spanish martyrs records his death on 28 July 1936, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.

He was twenty-two years old when he was killed on 28 July 1936.
