Who they were

Tomás Pallarés Ibáñez was a priest of the Congregation of the Mission, born at Iglesuela del Cid near Teruel on 6 March 1890 and ordained on 29 August 1915. Pope Francis beatified him on 13 October 2013, among the martyrs of Fortunato Velasco Tobar and thirteen companions of the Congregation of the Mission.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The decree on martyrdom records that he was killed at Oviedo on 13 October 1934.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
