Who they were

At Córdoba in Andalusia in Spain, Saint Theodemir, monk of Carmona and martyr while still young during the persecution of the Moors.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 25 July as a young monk of Carmona martyred at Córdoba under the Moors.
