Teodoro Gómez Cervero
Priest of the Congregation of the Mission, martyr of the persecution in Spain
Who they were
Born at Deza, near Soria, on 7 December 1877 and ordained priest on 1 June 1901, he was a missionary in Cuba, working in schools, parishes and popular missions; back in Spain he was killed on 15 November 1936. Pope Francis beatified him with José María Fernández Sánchez and his companions on 11 November 2017.

The decree on martyrdom records that he was killed after returning to Spain from the missions in Cuba.
