Who they were

At Alba in Piedmont, Blessed Teobaldo, who, moved by love of poverty, handed over all his possessions to a widow and in a spirit of humility became a porter, to carry the burdens of others.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 1 June as a man of Alba who gave his goods to a widow and became a porter out of humility.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
