Senén López Cots
Claretian religious, martyr of the persecution in Spain
Who they were
Senén López Cots, born at Barcelona on 21 January 1915, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 6 January 1932.
He was killed at Lérida on 26 July 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
