Who they were

At Geneva in present-day Switzerland, Saint Salonius, bishop, who first led the monastic life on the island of Lérins and, having then become bishop, upheld the teaching of Pope Saint Leo the Great and explained the Sacred Scriptures in their mystical sense.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 28 September as a bishop of Geneva, formerly a monk of Lérins, who upheld the teaching of Pope Saint Leo the Great.
