Who they were
Adeltrudis is named, in the late and untrustworthy life of St Landoald, as a daughter of St Bavo who went with Landoald's missionary party to the country between the Meuse and the Scheldt in the seventh century.
The group worked in the diocese of Maastricht, with Landoald based at Wintershoven.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
Named among the companions of St Landoald's seventh-century mission.
