Who they were
Onchu, Mac in Eccis, of the Connacians. It was he that collected a great deal of the relics of the saints of Erinn to Cluain-mor-Maedhog. A very ancient vellum old book, which we have mentioned under Brighit, at 1st February, states, that Mac-in-Eccis was, in his manners and life, like unto Ambrose.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Martyrology of Donegal remembers him on 8 February.
