Who they were
At Aix-en-Provence in Gallia Narbonensis, now in France, Saint Mitre, who, though of servile condition, yet free in Christ, passed victorious from this world.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 November at Aix-en-Provence as a slave, free in Christ, who passed victorious from this world.
