Who they were
In the Vosges mountains in Neustria, also in France, Saint Amatus, priest and abbot, distinguished for austerity, fasting and desire for solitude, who wisely governed the monastery of Habend, which he had founded together with Saint Romaric.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 September as a priest and abbot who founded the monastery of Habend with Saint Romaric.
