Who they were

A sister of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Most Sacred and Immaculate Heart of Mary, born in November 1900 at Riudarenes in the province of Girona, who sang in the parish choir and taught catechism as a young woman and was briefly engaged before deciding on the consecrated life; she entered the novitiate at Olot, received the habit on 16 June 1923, made her religious profession on 25 July 1924 and her perpetual vows on 24 July 1927, and taught at Olot and at Santa Coloma de Farners, where she was known for her cheerfulness, simplicity and warmth with the children.

She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, with her two sisters.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The decree on martyrdom names her with her two sisters among the Servants of God killed in 1936.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
