Who they were

At Paris in France, the passion of Blessed André Abel Alricy, priest, and seventy-one companions, martyrs, for the most part priests, who, after a first massacre carried out the previous day, were shut up in the Seminary of Saint-Firmin as in a prison and slaughtered out of hatred of the Church. Among those named is Blessed Robert Guérin du Rocher, priest.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 3 September among the martyrs, mostly priests, slaughtered in the Seminary of Saint-Firmin in Paris out of hatred of the Church.

The cause

Robert Guérin du Rocher has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Jesuits: Blessed Robert Guérin du Rocher.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
