Who they were

Ramón Emiliano Hortelano Gómez was one of the two lay faithful joined to the cause of the Marist Brothers; born at Cuenca on 8 August 1908, he died a martyr at Villalba de la Sierra near Cuenca on 28 July 1938 and was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
