Who they were

Ramón Eirín Mayo was a Salesian coadjutor brother named in the Dicastery's list of the martyrs of the cause of Enrique Sáiz Aparicio and sixty-two companions of the Salesian family, and he was killed on 15 December 1936. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Dicastery records the day of his death among the martyrs of the cause of Enrique Sáiz Aparicio and sixty-two companions of the Salesian family.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
