Who they were
At Denain in Hainaut, in present-day France, Saint Ragenfreda, abbess, who with her own goods built a monastery in this place, of which she was a worthy guide.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 8 October as the abbess who built the monastery of Denain with her own goods.
