Feast: 11 October (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
At Gniezno in Poland, Saint Gaudentius or Radim, bishop, who, brother in the flesh and in the spirit, as well as faithful companion, of Saint Adalbert, bishop of Prague, was present at his martyrdom and was then himself thrown into prison.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 11 October as the bishop at Gniezno who was brother and companion of Saint Adalbert of Prague and witnessed his martyrdom.
