Who they were

At Rome, Blessed Pietro of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Casani, priest of the Order of Clerics Regular of the Pious Schools, who placed his gifts of nature and grace at the service of the education of children, happy only to serve God in the little ones.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 17 October as a Piarist priest who gave his gifts to the education of children.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
