Who they were

The Roman Martyrology remembers him at San Severino Marche as a priest who was among the first disciples of Saint Francis and who, going as a pilgrim to the Holy Land, drew the admiration even of the Saracens.

He was beatified on 31 July 1821 by Pope Pius VII.

The miracles

The source does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

He was among the first disciples of Saint Francis and went as a pilgrim to the Holy Land.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
