Who they were

At the place called Tavernes de Valldigna in the territory of Valencia in Spain, the Blessed martyrs Constantino Carbonell Sempere, priest, Pedro Gelabert Amer and Ramón Grimaltós Monllor, religious of the Society of Jesus, who suffered martyrdom during the persecution against the faith.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 23 August as a Jesuit religious martyred at Tavernes de Valldigna.

The cause

Pedro Gelabert Amer has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Jesuits: the cause of Pedro Gelabert Amer.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
