Who they were

A religious of the Missionary Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, born on 24 November 1916 at Sóller, who made his temporary profession as a coadjutor brother in 1934 and was killed on 23 July 1936 at the place called the Arrabassada, together with two sisters of the Congregation of the Franciscan Daughters of Mercy.

He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, in the cause of Simó Reynés Solivellas and his companions.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The decree on martyrdom names him among the Servants of God held at once to be martyrs of the faith.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
