Who they were

Commemoration of Saint Onesiphorus, who often refreshed Saint Paul the Apostle at Ephesus and was not ashamed of his chains, but, having gone to Rome, sought him out diligently and found him.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 6 September as the man who often refreshed Saint Paul at Ephesus and sought him out in Rome.
