Giovanni McAuliffe, in religion Brother Norberto, was a professed brother of the Institute of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart; he was born in New York, United States, on 30 September 1886 and died at Alokolum, Uganda, on 3 July 1959. Pope Francis recognised his heroic virtue on 19 May 2018.
