Who they were

Miroslav Bulešić was born on 13 May 1920 in the Istrian hamlet of Čabrunići, parish of Svetvinčenat, and after secondary school chose to study for the priesthood.

A Croatian diocesan priest, he was cruelly killed in northern Istria in 1947 simply for carrying out his priestly ministry.

The miracles

As a martyr, beatified without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

A young priest killed for doing his priestly work.

The cause

Miroslav Bulešić has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Postulation for the cause of Blessed Miroslav Bulesic.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
