Who they were

Near Munich in Bavaria in Germany, Blessed Michał Woźniak, priest and martyr, who, from Poland occupied by a regime hostile to human dignity and to the faith, was transferred to the prison camp of Dachau and, subjected to torture, passed to the glory of heaven.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 16 May as a Polish priest and martyr who died under torture at Dachau.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
