Who they were
Sister of María Balbina de San José, she was born in Madrid on 9 August 1892 and made her solemn profession on 7 November 1932. Pope Francis beatified her with María del Carmen Lacaba Andía and her thirteen companions on 22 June 2019.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The decree on martyrdom counts her among the professed nuns killed out of hatred for the faith in 1936.
