Who they were

At El Saler, again in the same territory, Blessed Elvira of the Nativity of Our Lady Torrentalle Paraire and companions, virgins of the Institute of the Carmelite Sisters of Charity and martyrs, who by fighting for faith in Christ the Bridegroom carried off the prize of eternal life.

Among those named is Blessed Maria Dolores of Saint Francis Xavier Vidal Cervera.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 19 August as a Carmelite Sister of Charity martyred at El Saler in the territory of Valencia.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
