Who they were

A sister of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Most Sacred and Immaculate Heart of Mary, born on 25 October 1895 at Riudarenas in the province and diocese of Girona into a farming family; after a serious illness she decided to embrace the consecrated life, received the religious habit on 2 February 1922, made her temporary vows on 3 February 1923 and her perpetual vows in 1926, and was known for her gentleness and her great patience with her pupils and her community.

She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, with her two sisters.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The decree on martyrdom names her with her two sisters among the Servants of God killed in 1936.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
