Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 2 October as a School Sister of Notre Dame who died under torture in prison at Stanisławów for her faith.

The cause

Maria Antonina Kratochwil has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: School Sisters of Notre Dame: the cause of Maria Antonina Kratochwil.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
