Who they were

At Turón in Asturias in Spain, Saints Inocencio of the Immaculate Conception (Manuel) Canoura Arnau, priest of the Congregation of the Passion, and eight companions, of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, who, in the adverse circumstances of their times, won the supreme victory, slaughtered in hatred of the faith without trial.

Among those named is Saint Aniceto Adolfo (Manuel) Seco Gutiérrez.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 9 October as one of the companions martyred at Turón in hatred of the faith.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
