Who they were

The Acts of the Apostolic See carry the decree on his heroic virtues for the cause of Jaén, describing him as a lay member of the faithful who lived from 1920 to 1971 and shone, in the words of the decree, like a star in the firmament of the Christian laity, marked by a steady pursuit of perfection, a strong spirit of prayer and offering, and a sincere love of the Virgin Mary.

The miracles

The source does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

His steady prayer and offering marked him out among lay Catholics.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
