Who they were
In Brittany in France, Saint Magloire, who, a disciple of Saint Illtud, is said by tradition to have succeeded Saint Samson, bishop of Dol, and to have lived in solitude on the island of Sark.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 24 October as a disciple of Illtud who, tradition says, succeeded Samson at Dol and lived in solitude on Sark.
