Who they were

A sister of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Most Sacred and Immaculate Heart of Mary, born on 12 December 1902 at Riudarenes in the province of Girona and baptised in the parish church four days later; she entered the Congregation at Olot, received the religious habit on 16 June 1923 together with her sister Rosa and made her vows with her on 25 July 1924, qualified as a teacher and taught catechism and school at Camprodón, Besalú and Cassá de la Selva, radiating peace, joy and welcome in all she did.

She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, with her two sisters.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The decree on martyrdom names her with her two sisters among the Servants of God killed in 1936.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
