Who they were

At Picadero de Paterna in the territory of Valencia in Spain, Blessed Luisa María Frías Cañizares, virgin and martyr, who during the persecution against the faith won the eternal prize in the struggle for the faith.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 6 December as a virgin and martyr of the persecution in Valencia.

The cause

Luisa María Frías Canizares has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: San Martin parish, Valencia: Blessed Luisa Maria Frias Canizares.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
