Luis Berenguer Moratonas
Priest of the Congregation of the Mission, martyr of the persecution in Spain
Who they were
Born at Santa María de Horta on 4 July 1869, he died on 28 May 1937 of a severe blood infection brought on by the ill-treatment he suffered in prison. Pope Francis beatified him with Vicente Queralt Lloret and his twenty companions on 11 November 2017.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
