Who they were
Mati Palić, in religion Luigj Paliq, was a professed priest of the Order of Friars Minor; he was born at Janjevo, Kosovo, on 20 February 1877 and was killed in hatred of the faith at Peje, Albania, on 7 March 1913. Pope Francis recognised his martyrdom on 20 June 2024.
The miracles
Because his martyrdom has been recognised, no miracle is required for his beatification.

The Church recognised him as a martyr in 2024.
The cause
The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.
