Who they were

Luigi Talamoni was born at Monza on 3 October 1848, the son of a hatter. He grew up serving Mass with his father and in the oratory of the Carrobiolo.

A priest and educator of young people, he took an active part in the struggles of his society and founded the Misericordine Sisters of St Gerard.

The miracles

The Dicastery's biography does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

A priest and teacher of the young who founded the Misericordine Sisters.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
