Who they were

The Roman Martyrology remembers her at Amelia in Umbria as a virgin of the Oblates of the Order of Saint Augustine and the sister of Blessed Giovanni da Rieti, marked by her spirit of penance and her zeal for souls.

She was beatified on 3 August 1832 by Pope Gregory XVI.

The miracles

The source does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

She was known at Amelia for her spirit of penance and her zeal for souls.

The cause

Lucia Bufalari has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Postulation for the cause of Blessed Lucia Bufalari.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
