Who they were

At Toul in Austrasia, now in France, Saint Leudinus, bishop, who lived first as a married man and then decided to withdraw to the monastic life, as did his wife Odilia.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 11 September as a bishop of Toul who had been married before taking up the monastic life.
