Who they were
In the monastery of Klosterneuburg in Austria, the burial of Saint Leopold, who, margrave of this territory, called the Pious already in his lifetime, was a promoter of peace and a friend of the poor and the clergy.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 15 November as a margrave of Austria, called the Pious in his lifetime, a promoter of peace and friend of the poor.
