Who they were
Angela Maria Boidi, in religion Leonarda di Gesù Crocifisso, was a professed nun of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Passion of Jesus Christ; she was born at Quargnento, Italy, on 10 July 1908 and died in Alessandria, Italy, on 22 October 1953. Pope Francis recognised her heroic virtue on 21 December 2018.
