Who they were

Lachtain, of Achadh-ur in Osraighe, and of Bealach Feabhrat, A.D. 622. He was of the race of Conaire, son of Moghlamha, monarch of Erinn, who was of the seed of Heremon. The Life of Mochaemhog, chap. 8, states that holy Laichtin, who erected the monastery of Achadh-ur, was a disciple of Comhgall of Beannchair.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Martyrology of Donegal remembers him on 19 March.
