Judoc
Breton noble and Catholic saint
Feast: 13 December (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
In northern Neustria, now in France, Saint Judoc, priest and hermit, who, son of Juthael, king of Brittany, and brother of Saint Judicael, left his homeland so as not to be forced to succeed his father and withdrew to a hermit's life.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 December as a prince of Brittany who became a priest and hermit rather than succeed his father.
