Who they were

At Valencia in Spain, Blessed Juana María Condesa Lluch, virgin, who with a ready spirit of charity and sacrifice devoted herself in humble industry to helping the poor, children and young working women, for whose protection and instruction she founded the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Immaculate Conception, Protectresses of Working Women.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 16 January as the founder of a congregation to protect and teach young working women in Valencia.

The cause

Juana María Condesa Lluch has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Slaves of Mary Immaculate: Blessed Juana Maria Condesa Lluch.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
