Who they were

José Teba Merino was a diocesan priest, born at Martos on 10 September 1889 and parish priest of Santa Marta in Martos, who was killed there on 12 January 1937 at the age of 48. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
